West Philadelphia's Members-Only Dog Park

Sadly, the Chester Avenue Dog Park’s time at 48th and Chester is drawing to a close. After 17 years of graciously providing space rent-free for our pups, our landlord, Renaissance Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, has informed us that we need to vacate the park by March 15, 2019.  

We are actively looking for a new home. Once a new site is negotiated, there will be much work needed to make it useable. While we have some reason to be optimistic that a new site has been identified, it is impossible at this time to predict when we might be ready to open in a new location.

Until we have identified all of the factors affecting expenses and capacity of a new space, we are unable to accept new membership applications. We are happy to add the name of interested households to our waiting list. Once things settle, and we are able to establish new security deposit rates and annual membership fees, we will be happy make them available to prospective members.

Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 9:00 pm

Weekends and Holidays, 9:00 am to 9:00 pm
